Drive to the I-12 / I-10 merge. From the merge continue approximately 2.9 miles and take the Dalrymple Drive/LSU Exit (156b). Take a right onto Dalrymple Drive. Go to State Street (the 3rd traffic light and approximately .7 miles) and take a right. Go to Highland Road (next traffic light and approximately .3 miles) and take a left. From there, the Varsity Theatre is located on your left 1/2 a block up at 3353 Highland Road next to The Chimes Restaurant(a great place to eat before a show or anytime).
